Beginner-Friendly Granny Square Workshop: Learn how to crochet classic granny squares in this guided, multi-session workshop at The Knotty Brew. This class is designed for beginners who want to build confidence while learning one of the most versatile and iconic crochet motifs. In a relaxed, supportive, and creative setting, you’ll learn the foundations needed to create granny squares you can later turn into blankets, bags, garments, and more.

Skills Needed: No prior granny square experience is required. This workshop is suitable for beginners who are new to crochet or who have very basic experience. We’ll review foundational skills together, including basic stitches and working in the round, so you can learn at a comfortable pace.

Throughout the two sessions, participants will learn how to start a granny square, work simple stitch repeats, maintain even tension, and complete a finished square. The focus is on understanding the process, building confidence, and completing small, achievable projects rather than perfection. Each session includes hands-on instruction and time for individual guidance.
