FAQ's

Welcome! You don’t need to crochet or knit to visit. Feel free to come in for coffee, food, or to simply enjoy the space. Seating is first-come, first-served, and you’re welcome to stay and work or stitch as long as space allows. Workshops and events should be booked in advance, and parking downtown is limited to two hours. Most of all, come as you are and make yourself at home.

A crochet café is a cafe space where people can enjoy coffee and food while crafting, connecting, or simply relaxing. At The Knotty Brew, it’s about coffee, creativity, community, and comfort whether you’re stitching or not

Not at all. You’re welcome to come in just for coffee, food, or to spend time in the space. Crafting is optional, not required.

Yes. You don’t need to be crafty to feel at home here.

Yes! Many guests visit us simply to enjoy our café offerings and atmosphere.

Absolutely. We welcome everyone, from complete beginners to experienced makers.

Yes! We offer Hook & Help sessions where you can get support with crochet questions or projects you’re working on (please view our calendar of events for dates). Additionally, a few of our baristas know how to crochet and are happy to assist when they’re free.

That’s wonderful! We offer kids crochet workshops designed for young makers, typically for ages 10 and up, where they can learn the basics in a fun and supportive environment. Workshop details and age requirements are listed with each event. Kids are also welcome to visit the café with a parent or guardian outside of workshop times.
