Learn how to create a classic amigurumi teddy bear from start to finish in this hands-on workshop at The Knotty Brew. This project-based class is designed for confident beginners to intermediate crocheters who are comfortable with basic stitches and ready to explore three-dimensional crochet in a relaxed, supportive setting.
Skills Needed: Participants should be comfortable with chaining, single crochet, and working in basic rounds. Some experience following simple patterns and counting stitches is recommended. This workshop is not intended for complete beginners. If you’re new to crochet, we suggest starting with our Beginner Crochet workshop before joining project-based classes.
During this guided session, we will walk step by step through key amigurumi techniques, including working in continuous rounds, shaping with increases and decreases, stuffing, and assembling the pieces to bring your teddy bear to life. You’ll leave with a strong understanding of the construction process and the confidence to finish your teddy bear at home.
