Take your crochet to the next level with granny square skills in this guided, multi-session workshop. Designed for crocheters with prior beginner experience, this intermediate class focuses on expanding techniques, refining stitch work, and exploring more complex granny square variations. In a relaxed, supportive, and creative environment, you’ll build confidence while learning how to make intentional designs suitable for garments, bags, blankets, and statement pieces.
Skills Needed: This workshop is intended for participants who already have basic crochet knowledge. You should be comfortable with foundational stitches (such as chain and single crochet) and working in the round. This class is not recommended for complete beginners. If you are a beginner, please consider starting with our Part 1: Adult Beginner Crochet 101 & 102 workshop before taking the Part 2: Adult Beginner Crochet 201 & 202 workshop.
Throughout the two sessions, participants will work on granny square techniques, including advanced stitch patterns, colour changes, clean joins, consistent tension, and finishing methods. The focus is on skill refinement, understanding structure, and creating cohesive, high-quality squares rather than speed or perfection. Each session includes 2 instructors to allow for hands-on instruction, demonstrations, and time for individualized support.
